ABI Databuild

ABI Databuild gives subscribers a weekly analysis of all UK planning applications so members can gain a real head start with tenders and contract leads for business opportunities. FSPA members receive over 50% discount.

Business Support Helpline

A free service to members who can obtain advice from qualified professionals on tax, VAT, PAYE, payroll, employment & personnel, health & safety and legal & commercial issues.

CRB Checking

The FSPA is an approved Umbrella Body to process CRB Checks on behalf of its members. CRB checks are necessary where an individual comes into close contact with a child or vulnerable adult.

 Credit Information Service

The Federation provides a range of credit information to contributing companies designed to help participating members avoid bad debtors. This service is available to member companies in the golf, angling and play sectors.

Debit/Credit Card Transactions

Streamline (part of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group) is the leading provider of merchant accounts in Europe. They handle around half of all card transactions, so you know you can be confident of a first class, reliable service. Excellent rates have been negotiated with the Federation and are now available for FSPA members.

Debt Recovery Service

A discounted debt recovery service for the UK and Europe based on a 'no win no fee' basis. Recovery charges are as low as 15% of the amount recovered. The service also provides credit checking facilities.

FEPI

FSPA is an active member of FEPI, the Federation of the European Play industry represents in Brussels the interests of the most responsible manufacturers and distributors of both outdoor and indoor play equipment and safety surfacing.

FESI

FSPA is an active member of FESI - the Federation of the European Sporting goods Industry representing in Brussels the interests of the Sporting Goods Industry.

Developing your staff

The FSPA has a long partnership with Loughborough University and recognises the following staff development opportunities: The Professional and Management Development Centre (PMDC) at Loughborough University Business School runs a management development course specifically tailored for the sporting goods, play, leisure and outdoors sectors.

Sports insight magazine is the official publication of the Federation of Sports and Play Associations.

 The Federation produces a range of statistics to contributing companies that give a confidential market share analysis. This is available to member companies in golf, angling, play and the sports sector.

Trade Mark Registration

A service for members, offering trade mark registrations at a discounted rate when compared to the normal use of agents. Members using this service will save a minimum of 50%
