CRB Checking
The Federation of Sports & Play Associations has been appointed as an “Umbrella Body” by the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and so is able to undertake the CRB checking process on behalf of its members.
CRB checking is necessary where a member of staff comes into close contact with children.
This service is offered at cost plus a small administration charge. Should you require CRB disclosure forms or further information please contact Mr David Pomfret on 02476414999 ext 211.
The Federation will send you part pre-printed forms for your completion together with full instructions. The forms are to be filled out and returned, to then be checked by the Federation and sent off to the CRB offices. Please note, checking can take anything from 3 to 6 weeks.
Upon receipt of the appropriate certificate, the Federation will contact you by letter to confirm that all is in order.
