Developing your staff
The Professional and Management Development Centre (PMDC) at Loughborough University Business School runs a management development course specifically tailored for the sporting goods, play, leisure and outdoors sectors.
Founded on Loughborough’s superlative reputation in sport and fitness – coming first in the UK for sport and recreation in The Independent’s June 2008 University league table - our Postgraduate Certificate in Management and Leadership (FSPA) offers your members the opportunity to:
- Realise the full potential of staff members;
- Develop management skills while providing a recognised University qualification; and
- Enhance staff retention and growth.
Visit www.lboro.ac.uk/departments/bs/mdc/courses/fspacert.html for programme details or contact the PMDC on 01509 223140 or by emailing pmdc@lboro.ac.uk to sign up for our next intake.

CERTIFICATE IN MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP - The programme will particularly benefit experienced, first line managers and will provide a route to a Postgraduate Diploma in Management and Leadership. Students should have approximately 18 months experience in a first-line management role.
DIPLOMA IN MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP – The Diploma programme is designed for middle managers and will provide a sound basis for those seeking to extend their studies to MSc and MBA. Students should have approximately 3 years experience in a middle management role.
MSC IN MANAGEMENT – Diploma graduates may extend their qualifications to MSc via a supervised work-based dissertation.
