Huck Nets joins SAFEA
Huck Nets UK of Bridport are thrilled to announce that they have recently teamed up with The Sports and Fitness Equipment Association (SAFEA). SAFEA is the lead trade body representing Sports Hall and Equipment suppliers and manufacturers in the UK and operates under the umbrella of the Federation of Sports and Play Associations (FSPA). In doing so Huck Nets joins a group of reputable companies in the UK Sports sector that work together to provide a unified voice on sports equipment purchase to organisations such as the afPE, Sport England and the Youth Sports Trust. All the members adhere to the SAFEA Code of Practice, designed to deliver best value to clients and minimise all risks to the user, clients and SAFEA Members.
As part of the Huck group founded over 40 years ago in Germany, Huck Nets pioneered the manufacture of high quality knotless netting and is now the European market leader in sports related netting. They continually invest in new processes and cutting edge technology to enable them to produce made-to-measure nets in a variety of twine sizes, colours and meshes. Huck Nets UK supply and install nets and ropes for all types of sports including football, cricket, golf, tennis, volleyball, badminton, and hockey to name a few. They also supply natural rope playground equipment to the growing play sector.
Established Industry Body
Speaking about the decision to join SAFEA, Huck Nets Sales Director, Jon Legg-Bagg said, “SAFEA is the leading trade association for sports and fitness equipment. Being part of such an established industry body allows us to benefit from their influence and useful links. All their members, like we here at Huck, offer the highest quality products and services. We are looking forward to adding to the prestige of the association by sharing our quality products and extensive experience with the other members.”
Strength in Numbers
The Sports and Fitness Equipment Association, manager Kate Costin commented “In a period of increased government investment in school sport, sporting infrastructure and facilities, being part of an association which has developed strong links with these key organisation’s is becoming an invaluable business tool to sports equipment suppliers. We welcome the application to membership of reputable companies that want to commit to the SAFEA Code of Practice and that have a strong commitment to high product standards. We are therefore delighted to have Huck Nets as part of the association as this will only strengthen the voice that the association has within the industry.
