New Balance Supporting Cumbria Flood Appeal
FSPA members New Balance Atheletic Shoes Ltd are supporting the Cumbria Flood Appeal by raising money through a 139 mile walk.
A team of New Balance employees will be walking from their base at Warrington to Cockermouth in West Cumbria to raise much needed funds for the Cumbria Flood Appeal.
West Cumbria, where the New Balance Factory is situated, was devastated by severe flooding in November last year, making hundreds homeless and causing massive disruption to local businesses.
New Balance have already donated £30k to the fund, and aim to significantly increase their support by raising money through the 139 mile walk.
The letter below contains a link to the New Balance "Just Giving" site which has been set up by New Balance specifically to receive donations, however small or large, to this most worthy of causes. All contributions will be gratefully received and 100% of all monies collected will go to helping those affected by the floods in Cumbria.
