National Federations Meetings

Last week whilst the FSPA exhibited at ISPO Munich, and fronted the UK pavilion, Managing Director Jane Montgomery attended the National Federations meeting of the Federation of European Sports Industries (FESI) of which the FSPA is a member, and attended the General Assembly of the World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI).  The FSPA participates in these meetings because it is an ideal chance to network and share ideas and best practice with other national federations and similar organisations to the FSPA. 

The FESI Committee meeting is the coming together of all national trade associations based in Europe and are members of FSPA.  This year's National Federation meeting was based on presenting and sharing the successes each National Federation had achieved in 2009, Jane Montgomery outlined our recent breakthrough on behalf of its members with Sport England and its network of County Sports Partnerships in 2009 and subsequent progress made in partnering the CSP Convention in March 2010.

The next National Federations committee meeting is scheduled for October 4th, 2010.
